PSG ace staying put

10th June 2019, 07:16 by Michael Holland

Julian Draxler has played down talk linking him with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain during the close season.

The Germany international had an impressive season with the Parisians when scoring five goals and chipping in with 12 assists as they marched to another Ligue 1 title.

Even so that has not stopped speculation linking him with a move away, with reports claiming he has been offered to English Premier League side Tottenham in a deal worth £35million.

However the 25-year-old says he knows nothing about a move away and is not interested as he remains fully committed to PSG ahead of next season.

"I cannot say anything about that, because I have no intention of leaving the club," he said, when quizzed about a potential switch to England.

"I also heard nothing from club side. I have not talked to anyone, I know nothing."
