Arsenal forward Stephy Mavididi back at Charlton for second loan spell

13th January 2018, 15:01

Charlton have announced the loan signing of forward Stephy Mavididi from Arsenal.

The 19-year-old England youth international played five times for the Addicks during a temporary stay at the start of 2017 and has now returned until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

Charlton boss Karl Robinson told the club's official website: "I'm really looking forward to working with Stephy again. He is such a talented player and we only got to see a glimpse of what he could do last time he was here.

"I've watched him a lot since he's come back from injury and he is a phenomenal talent. I don't think it is any secret that we wanted to bring him in over the summer.

"The fans will have seen how quick, powerful and skillful he is from his first spell with us. He is a Championship-quality player already and comes to Charlton now with a point to prove."
