Watford defender Charlie Rowan joins Accrington on loan

Accrington have signed Watford defender Charlie Rowan on loan.

The 20-year-old, who has yet to make a senior appearance for the Hornets, will spend he remainder of the season with the League Two promotion hopefuls.

Rowan has featured for Watford's Under-23 team and was captain of the 2015-16 Under-18 championship-winning side.

He will go straight into manager John Coleman's match-day squad for the trip to Cheltenham on Saturday.
