Craig Slater swaps Colchester for Dundee United

Colchester midfielder Craig Slater has joined Dundee United on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

The 23-year-old, who made his name north of the border with Kilmarnock, has struggled to break into the U's first team this season after 32 appearances last term.

Dundee United are in the promotion hunt in the Scottish Championship, sitting second behind St Mirren.
