Burnley v Leicester City

15th March 2019, 16:50 by Warren Ashurst

Burnley will look to end a three-game losing run when they face Leicester, who they've beaten in their last two meetings at Turf Moor.

The Clarets have slipped to one place and two points outside the relegation zone, following successive defeats to Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Liverpool, and face a Leicester side that have won just two of their last nine league games.

Sean Dyche insisted in his pre-match press conference that there is "more to come" from his team, who claimed a point in a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium back in November.

Dyche has no fresh injury worries going in to the game and despite the recent defeats, could stick with the same starting XI for the third match in a row.

Midfielder Steven Defour is expected to miss the remaining eight games of the season, but Burnley remain hopeful that Aaron Lennon may return from knee surgery to feature in the run in.

Meanwhile, Leicester are also expected to be unchanged after their 3-1 win over Fulham last weekend in what is the 50th top-flight meeting between the two teams.

Marc Albrighton, Matty James and Daniel Amartey are all long-term injury absentees, but Brendan Rodgers has a fully-fit squad to select from barring that trio.

Burnley have won their last two home meetings with the Foxes, including a 2-1 win last season thanks to two goals in the first ten minutes, from Chris Wood and Kevin Long.
