Chelsea v Southampton
Chelsea will be looking to make it three wins from three in the Premier League in Wednesday's home clash with Southampton.
The Blues bounced back from their surprise defeat to Leicester before Christmas by recording back-to-back away wins against Watford and Crystal Palace, with those results helping Maurizio Sarri's side consolidate their place in the top four of the Premier League.
Chelsea have not won three straight top-flight games since September but will fancy their chances against Southampton given they have won each of their last seven meetings with the south-coast club, including a 3-0 triumph at St Mary's Stadium earlier this season.
Olivier Giroud is expected to sit out Wednesday's match with an ankle problem and he is not the only Blues player set to miss out through injury, as Pedro, Cesc Fabregas, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Danny Drinkwater are all expected to be unavailable.
Southampton have shown signs of improvement under Ralph Hasenhuttl, particularly in front of goal, although they have lost their last two games against West Ham and Manchester City.
Those results have left the Saints sitting above the relegation zone on goal difference although they did win their last away game, seeing off fellow strugglers Huddersfield 3-1 before Christmas.
Former Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand is pushing for a return after recovering from back surgery although the match against his former club may come too soon for him.
Forward Michael Obafemi is expected to miss out once again with a hamstring problem, while midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is suspended following his sending off against City.
