Everton v Bournemouth

11th January 2019, 16:45 by Warren Ashurst

Just goal difference separates Everton and Bournemouth going into Sunday's clash at Goodison Park, with the teams sat 11th and 12th.

Both teams have collected just one win in their last five Premier League games and sit on 27 points from 21 games, although they had contrasting fortunes in the FA Cup - with Everton beating Lincoln and Bournemouth going out to Brighton.

Marco Silva has seen the Toffees fail to win any of their last four at Goodison, but goes into Sunday's game with no fresh injury concerns while Ademola Lookman could return to the matchday squad after recovering from injury.

Lucas Digne is expected to come back in at left-back, after Leighton Baines played in the FA Cup third round tie, while Andre Gomes and Richarlison will also be back in contention having been rested.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth have a host of injury concerns to contend with, as Callum Wilson, Joshua King and Ryan Fraser all face late fitness tests.

Recent signing Dominic Solanke will not feature after being ruled out until February with a hamstring injury, but on-loan Liverpool man Nathaniel Clyne could make his debut.

The home team has won five of the last six meetings between the teams, with the only share of the points coming in this season's clash at the Vitality Stadium when the sides played out a 2-2 draw in August.
