Fulham v Oldham Athletic

League Two Oldham will look to take a Premier League scalp when they travel to relegation-threatened Fulham in the FA Cup.

Fulham are likely to rotate as they focus on trying to pick up points in the league and Oldham will undoubtedly be keen to take advantage in the third-round tie.

The top-flight side have been leaking goals this season, having conceded 47 in 21 Premier League outings, while Oldham are the fifth-highest scorers in League Two, despite sitting 10th.

Claudio Ranieri may look to recall Callum Chambers to the starting XI after he missed out against his parent club Arsenal last time out.

However, fellow defender Alfie Mawson is unlikely to feature as he continues to nurse a knee problem.

Oldham are making their first appearance in round three since 2013-14 when they lost 2-0 to Liverpool at Anfield.

With the League Two play-offs in their sights, a victory on Sunday would provide a huge morale booster for the second half of the campaign.

Caretaker manager Peter Wild will be unable to call on striker Ishmael Miller after the striker’s short-term deal came to an end.

Defender Rob Hunt is back in the mix though after he had to sit out of the 2-1 win over Notts County with a minor foot issue.

The Cottagers have won their two previous home meetings with Oldham, conceding just once, and they will be keen to avoid a replay having failed to win in their two away trips against the Latics.
