Leicester City v Bournemouth

29th March 2019, 11:32 by Warren Ashurst

Leicester will look to claim a victory over Bournemouth for the first time in the Premier League when the two teams meet on Saturday.

There have been seven previous meetings in the top flight, with Bournemouth winning twice, including a 4-2 success at the Vitality Stadium in September, and the other five games have ended in draws.

The Foxes, who are three points above the Cherries, are looking for a third consecutive win under Brendan Rodgers following victories over Fulham and Burnley.

Rodgers has been boosted by the return to training this week of Marc Albrighton, who was expected to miss the rest of the season due to a serious hamstring injury. Although Saturday's game is likely to come too soon, the former Aston Villa man could feature again in April.

Leicester had no fewer than nine players away on international duty, including the likes of Kasper Schmeichel, Jonny Evans and Youri Tielemans, but the Foxes boss says all are available this weekend.

But the hosts will be without the suspended Harry Maguire following the England international's sending off at Burnley.

Bournemouth head to the East Midlands having won just one of their last seven league games - a run that has seen them slip to 12th in the table.

Eddie Howe admits he still has "a few injury worries" although Junior Stanislas, Adam Smith and Dan Gosling have all been back in training this week and could feature.

The visitors, who claimed a 1-1 draw at King Power Stadium last season, are still without long-terms absentees Lewis Cook, Simon Francis and Steve Cook.
