Watford v Newcastle United
Watford and Newcastle will both be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they go head-to-head at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The Hornets' three-game unbeaten run was ended on Boxing Day as they lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea, whilst the Magpies' poor form continued as they were hammered 4-0 by leaders Liverpool at Anfield.
Watford are 10th in the standings ahead of the contest - a point behind seventh-place Leicester City - and they will be looking to make amends for the 1-0 defeat suffered at the hands of Newcastle in the reverse fixture.
Javi Gracia's men have struggled at home this season, having suffered three defeats from their last four matches at Vicarage Road, and the hosts will be without defender Christian Kabasele, who was hospitalised after colliding with a goal post against the Blues.
Striker Andre Gray, midfielder Will Hughes, forward Adalberto Penaranda and centre-back Sebastian Prodl were all unavailable on Boxing Day and could again miss out.
Newcastle were second-best throughout the loss at Anfield and the north-east outfit have picked up just one win from their last six Premier League outings, a run which has seen the club drop to 15th.
The Magpies have performed better away from St James' Park this season and they were on a four-game unbeaten run on the road before coming unstuck against Jurgen Klopp's table-toppers.
Rafael Benitez has confirmed goalkeeper Karl Darlow and defender Ciaran Clark are both unavailable, although England international Jonjo Shelvey is back in the frame after returning to full fitness.
James Mason grew up in Northumberland so is entrenched in both the football and golf scenes. A low handicap golfer, he also follows Newcastle United and predicts big things under Rafa Benitez.
