Fulham 2-0 Everton
Everton suffered a setback in their top-seven finish bid after a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham on Saturday.
Second-half goals from Tom Cairney and Ryan Babel ensured Fulham, who have already had their relegation to the Championship confirmed, picked up their first win after nine consecutive defeats.
Babel set up the opening goal of the game in the 46th minute when he broke into the box before playing a perfect cross for Cairney, who slotted the ball into the bottom corner.
Former Liverpool striker Babel got on the scoresheet himself in the 68th minute when he broke from deep and showed great pace before chipping the ball past Jordan Pickford.
Everton failed to provide much of a threat up front and it was Fulham who managed to cruise to victory and secured their first points under interim manager Scott Parker.
