Arsenal looking to part ways with defender
Arsenal are ready to cut ties with defender Shkodran Mustafi in the summer following reports claiming they will listen to offers.
It’s understood that Unai Emery has been told he will only be granted an initial budget of £40million to enhance his squad at the end of the season.
The Spaniard will need to move players on if he is to have more freedom to bring in targets, with Mustafi set to be a casualty.
Arsenal signed Mustafi from Valencia in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £35million but he has struggled to settle in north London.
Fans have been highly critical of his performances and he was in the spotlight once again last weekend when he played Sergio Aguero onside in the 3-1 loss to Manchester City.
Mustafi has turned out 23 times across all competitions this term and is nearing a century of appearances in total.
