Arsenal speculation is flattering - Fraser

4th April 2019, 17:20 by Tom Hill

Arsenal have been given a boost in their pursuit of Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser after he confirmed he was 'flattered' by the rumours.

The Aberdeen-born playmaker has enjoyed another fine campaign for the Cherries, guiding them towards a top 10 finish.

Fraser remains a big part of Eddie Howe's plans on the south coast but Arsenal coach Unai Emery has been impressed by the ace who has scored seven league goals.

He is out of contract at the end of the 2019/2020 campaign and the Scotland international has hinted that a move to the Emirates Stadium would interest him.

Fraser told Sky Sports News: "I'm not going to lie, it's very nice. It means you are are doing something right.

"They are a huge club, a massive club. When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well.

"I'm not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it's a massive club."
