Emery happy with 'consistent' Mustafi
Unai Emery defended "consistent" Shkodran Mustafi after the German faced criticism after Arsenal's 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
The £35million centre-back was caught out for the Eagles' second goal and was generally out of sorts as the Gunners failed to press home their advantage in the race for the top four.
Arsenal fans have become increasingly frustrated by Mustafi's defending, but Emery refused to call out the World Cup winner in his post-match press conference.
"In all the season I think he has been consistent," said the Spaniard when he was asked for his thoughts on Mustafi's performance.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson took a slightly different view when he gave his opinion on Arsenal's defending.
"I'm sure Unai will have some comments on the defending," said the ex-England head coach.
