Emery cool over transfers
Arsenal are working hard to sign new players but they will not panic and will wait for the right ones, Unai Emery has said.
The Gunners have yet to make any big signings this summer but are in the hunt for Wilfried Zaha, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba, among others, and Emery has called for calm.
Celtic defender Kieran Tierney is also a top target and with the season just three weeks away, reports claim a flurry of transfer activity is just around the corner.
"Some players are expensive and we are working on these possibilities because we don't want to go to the second line of player," Emery said following Arsenal's pre-season win over Fiorentina in the United States.
"We are waiting. We have very good young players, but we are aware that we have to improve with some players in the squad, but only I want to achieve or to sign some, one or two or three or four players, only if we can be sure they are coming to improve our team only.
"Only that. There are a lot of names and the club is working."
