Gunners pursuing Dortmund teenager
Borussia Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou has reportedly emerged as a top target for Arsenal.
The 19-year-old joined Dortmund from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017 on a free transfer and is regarded as one of the most promising defenders on the continent.
He has started eight times in the Bundesliga this term, helping Dortmund to top the standings, and his performances have led to serious interest from elsewhere.
Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with his services and it’s understood they will use chief scout Sven Mislintat to get the deal over the line.
The Swede spent eight years working with Dortmund before agreeing to move to Arsenal in November 2017.
Unai Emery reportedly sees Zagadou as a long-term successor to the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi.
