Gunners target not for sale

10th April 2019, 07:32 by Michael Holland

Arsenal have been warned off making a move for Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser as the winger is not for sale.

Fraser has continued to shine for the Cherries, leading to speculation he could be on the move in the summer with Arsenal known to be showing an interest.

However, Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn says none of their star players are for sale, meaning the Gunners could be forced to look elsewhere for reinforcements.

Mostyn told Sky Sports News: "Ryan Fraser is a Bournemouth player. Callum Wilson is a Bournemouth player.

"We just don't want anybody to leave the football club. Your prized assets are prized assets for a reason and we want to continue the momentum that we have achieved.

"Four consecutive seasons in the Premier League. We are going to start our next season, which will be our fifth year [and] we want our very best players to be playing for our football club."

Fraser is under contract until 2020, but Mostyn has revealed talks will soon begin over a new improved one.

"We will talk to Ryan," he added. "It is very early days yet and we will do the best for Ryan as we always have for all of our players."
