Gunners tracking rival duo

3rd April 2019, 03:24 by Michael Holland

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser and Everton defender Michael Keane are wanted by Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

Gunners boss Unai Emery is hoping to make changes to his squad during the close season and both players have emerged as targets for the Spanish tactician.

Whether he would be able to afford both players, with money reported to be tight at the Emirates Stadium, remains to be seen, but that is not stopping the rumour mill.

Arsenal are in need of midfielder reinforcements with Aaron Ramsey heading to Juventus at the end of the season, and reports claim that scouts have been checking on Fraser over the last six months.

The Cherries will be under no pressure to sell the 25-year-old and the Gunners could have trouble matching their valuation, which is likely to be sky high.

Meanwhile, Toffees central defender Keane has also emerged as a target, but it would take an offer of at least £50million to lure him away from Goodison Park, while arch rivals Tottenham are also said to be interested.
