Jordan a consideration in Arsenal's midfield search
Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan is reportedly under consideration by Arsenal as they seek to replace Aaron Ramsey.
The Gunners are expected to splash some cash on improving their midfield options during the summer when Ramsey moves to Juventus on a free transfer and have drawn up a lengthy list of potential targets.
According to reports in Spain, the latest name added to that list is that of 24-year-old Jordan, whose current contract at Eibar expires in a little over a year and includes a release clause of 15million euros.
Jordan has three goals and four assists to his name in La Liga this season and has caught the eye of the Gunners due to his creative abilities.
It is understood the Arsenal hierarchy are ready to sanction a move for the Spaniard and are just awaiting word from boss Unai Emery on whether he would like to see him added to the ranks at the Emirates Stadium.
Jordan joins a growing list of midfielders linked with a move to north London with Villarreall's Pablo Fornals, Ander Herrera of Manchester United, Lille playmaker Nicolas Pepe and Roma's Steven N'Zonzi all mentioned as potential targets recently.
