Leno sends out warning shot to top-four rivals
Bernd Leno is adamant Arsenal will make the most of any mistakes from their top-four rivals as the season draws to a close.
Having slipped down to sixth position prior to the weekend's Premier League fixtures, Arsenal managed to climb up one place after Saturday's 2-1 victory at Huddersfield Town was followed by Chelsea's 6-0 thumping at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday.
Manchester United eased past Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage to leap to fourth, with just one point separating the Red Devils from the Gunners and the Blues who are both on 50 points.
It looks like the battle for the final Champions League spot will go right down to the wire and Arsenal goalkeeper Leno, who has only kept three clean sheets in the league this season, says his side will be ready to take advantage of any mistakes.
"It is a good competition between all the teams. Chelsea played Manchester City and the gap to Manchester United is one point, so everything is possible," he was quoted as saying by the Standard. "We wait for the other teams and if they make mistakes. We do our work to win every game and on Saturday we did the job."
Arsenal return to league action on February 24 when they welcome Southampton to St Mary's and the hosts will be hoping to rack up a seventh straight home win in England's top flight.
Unai Emery's men have not lost at the Emirates in the league since August and punters may decide to use their free bet on the London outfit taking all three points against their relegation-threatened opponents.
