Mainz defender on Arsenal radar
Reports claims Arsenal have reignited their interest in Mainz defender Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
Unai Emery has already hinted he will reinforce at the back this summer but his budget will depend on whether or not they qualify for the Champions League.
Barcelona's Samuel Umtiti is known to be a target but Arsenal could be priced out in their pursuit of the France international.
Reports have now emerged suggesting Gbamin is next on their list of targets after keeping tabs on his progress in Germany.
Arsenal were linked with the defender before he joined Mainz from Lens in 2016 and it appears they are now finally ready to make a move.
It's understood that Gbamin, who is a full international with Ivory Coast, could be available for a fee in the region of 35million euros.
