One game at a time for Emery

6th April 2019, 08:28 by Nick Harris

Unai Emery is refusing to look too far ahead as Arsenal's season heads towards it's climax.

The Gunners are in a race for the top four spots in the Premier League with four clubs pushing for just two places but Emery says he is concentrating on one game at a time.

On Sunday, Arsenal travel to Everton, who themselves fancy a Europa League place, and Emery knows it will not be easy against a side who have suddenly found their form with back-to-back wins.

Emery said: "We are thinking game by game and we know seven matches, and five away, for us is a big challenge. We have confidence now but we know it is very difficult. It's a long way for the last matches.

"We hope we can take the next matches. Three points like Sunday with Everton is the most important because we know also the other teams are going to demand a lot of us.

"Everton won against Chelsea 2-0 and drew against Liverpool in their last matches at home, so it will be tough."
