Sokratis return hands Gunners a boost
Arsenal will have Sokratis Papastathopoulos available for the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie against Napoli.
The Gunners head to the Stadio San Paolo holding a 2-0 lead from last week's first leg and their defensive ranks will be boosted by the return of Greek international Sokratis, who missed Monday night's Premier League win at Watford due to a domestic suspension.
Boss Unai Emery admits it is a boost to have Sokratis available once again and has praised the commitment the 30-year-old has shown during his first season at the Emirates Stadium.
"I have the confidence in every player," Emery told reporters. "All the players that we have are ready to play, like Papa because he was suspended in the Premier League, their commitment is fantastic."
Lucas Torreira has also travelled to Naples with the rest of the squad although he remains a doubt for Thursday's match due to a groin issue that saw him substituted at half-time against Watford.
Denis Suarez has not travelled due to a similar issue, while Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck are all making good progress in their recoveries from injury although they are still long-term absentees.
