Trossard and Banega back on Gunners' agenda
Arsenal have been linked to Sevilla's Ever Banega and Racing Genk's Leandro Trossard as they try to replace Italy-bound Aaron Ramsey.
Reports in Belgium have again associated Trossard's name with the Gunners and although more of an attacker by nature, his addition could help the Gunners replace some of the goals that will be lost when Ramsey leaves for Juventus this summer.
Football.London stated the 24-year-old would be a target for Arsenal earlier this week and it has since been reported in Belgium that negotiations could take place from a starting point of 20m euros.
Last November, Trossard's agent revealed he'd had contact with Arsenal officials regarding his client and they told him that the club were keeping a close eye on the Belgium international's progress at Genk.
Trossard has scored 19 goals and registered eight assists in all competitions this season.
The Daily Mirror still say, however, that Banega is Unai Emery's top choice to bolster a midfield that will be full of youth but may lack experience when Ramsey goes.
The Argentina international was a key player for the Spanish coach during their time together at Sevilla and has not yet agreed a new deal, with his current contract set to enter its last year this summer.
