Wesley in line for Arsenal switch
Club Brugge forward Wesley has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Arsenal.
Unai Emery is keen to strengthen his attacking options and there are growing reports the Premier League outfit are readying an offer for Brazilian forward Wesley.
The 22-year-old has been a big hit since making the switch to Brugge from Trencin in 2016, scoring 31 goals from 100 league appearances, and he is expected to depart the Jan Breydel Stadium at the end of the season.
A number of clubs are said to be interested in a move for the forward although reports in Belgium suggest the Gunners have moved to the head of the queue for his signature.
Arsenal are only expected to have around £50million to spend but will only need to fork out £16m to snap up Wesley, who scored two goals in the Champions League this term.
James Mason grew up in Northumberland so is entrenched in both the football and golf scenes. A low handicap golfer, he also follows Newcastle United and predicts big things under Rafa Benitez.
