Attacking partnership hailed by Howe
Eddie Howe says the impressive partnership Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson have formed this season is a big positive for Bournemouth.
The Cherries duo have been their best two attacking players so far this season, with winger Fraser scoring a superb five goals and managing eight assists in all competitions, while striker Wilson has hit nine goals and grabbed six assists.
Both players have clearly contributed massively to Bournemouth's great start to the campaign and Howe is delighted, even if he admits they've not specifically been working on the partnership in training.
"I wouldn't say that Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson's partnership hasn't been something we've specifically worked on. I can't take credit for it, but it's great to see that the team drills are having an effect," Howe told his press conference.
Bournemouth entertain title-chasing Liverpool on Saturday and Howe says his side will have to play better than they did on Tuesday in the 2-1 win over Huddersfield.
He added: "The game on Tuesday was a big win for us. We won without playing well, something we've rarely done in the Premier League.
"I anticipate we'll play better tomorrow."
