Boruc happy to see young duo improve
Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc says young duo Mark Travers and Aaron Ramsdale have improved over the last 12 months.
The duo were given a chance in the first team last season with boss Eddie Howe unhappy with some of the performances from Boruc and Asmir Begovic.
Travers signed a new deal earlier this week and he made a big statement after making his top-flight debut against Tottenham in May.
Ramsdale spent time on loan last season with Chesterfield and Wimbledon and Boruc believes both of them can really kick on this season, with Travers the one to catch his eye.
He told the Bournemouth Echo: "I wasn't surprised to be honest. I've seen quite a lot of him and I was impressed in training as well so I wasn't surprised in the game.
"It was absolutely great how he dealt with the pressure. He's very young so he dealt with it quite well. We were really pleased with him. Everybody's different. He's working on his sports psychology on his own. He's bright so he knows what he's doing.
"You can see it from both of them (Ramsdale and Travers) now. They've improved a lot. I'm looking forward to seeing them grow as fast as they can."
