Brooks wants to continue his form
Frontman David Brooks is looking to continue his run of excellent form for Bournemouth in the second half of the season.
There was a slight doubt over his fitness after he came off against Chelsea in midweek with a knock to his ankle but he says that was merely precautionary and he will be good to go against Cardiff on Saturday.
The Wales international has had a great start to his Premier League career since joining last summer from Sheffield United for £10million and he was excellent against Chelsea in midweek with a goal and an assist.
He told the Echo: “You always believe in yourself and think you can help the team but now that it’s actually happening, it’s a real step up.
"Hopefully, it can continue."
As for his fitness, he continued: “It was just a bit sore around my ankle. I think I was coming off anyway."
