Changes will be made - Howe
Eddie Howe has revealed he will be making changes to Bournemouth's XI for Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie at home to Brighton.
It has been another gruelling festive period for the teams across England and Howe has now revealed he will be making some changes in order to give some of his first-team players a much-needed rest.
"There will be changes to the team, this game comes after a lot of games for clubs," he said at a press conference on Friday morning. "We'll wait and see how many changes we will make for the game."
England international Callum Wilson, who continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea, is expected to be rested with the likes of Josh King, Ryan Fraser, David Brooks and Jefferson Lerma.
Jordan Ibe, who has struggled for form during his time with the Cherries, and young forward Lys Mousset are likely to be handed starting opportunities for the clash against the Seagulls.
Diego Rico, Andrew Surman, Tyrone Mings and Artur Boruc are also expected to be named in the first 11.
James Mason grew up in Northumberland so is entrenched in both the football and golf scenes. A low handicap golfer, he also follows Newcastle United and predicts big things under Rafa Benitez.
