Cherries defender looks to return
Steve Cook is hoping to return to the Bournemouth side before the end of the season after he was left hospitalised last week.
Cook has missed the last month of action after picking up a persistent groin injury which at one point left him in hospital with an infection.
Prior to that the 27-year-old had been an ever present and played every minute of the first 26 games of the season.
Eddie Howe explained the hospital visit which left him with an infection.
He told the club's website: "He had a long-standing groin problem, which we felt was quite minor.
"He had an injection to try to fix the problem but it turned into an infection so it is not good news regarding that and he’s going to be out for around five to six weeks."
