Cherries set to make changes for Brighton clash

13th January 2018, 15:01 by Simon Barlow

Josh King is likely to miss out through injury when Bournemouth travel along the south coast to face Brighton on New Year's Day.

The Norway forward suffered a new hamstring problem in Saturday's 2-1 win over Everton, and could be set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

Ryan Fraser could continue in the starting XI after his match-winning double against Everton, with Charlie Daniels possibly ready to return from the off.

Republic of Ireland international Harry Arter saw late action against the Toffees after missing the previous two games, so he could also be in the reckoning.

Junior Stanislas is still thought to be struggling, Andrew Surman missed a second match due to an unspecified problem whilst Jermain Defoe and Tyrone Mings remain long-term absentees for the Cherries.
