Gosling - We need to improve going forward
Bournemouth playmaker Dan Gosling is hoping his side can improve their fortunes going forward after a poor display against Cardiff.
The Cherries slipped to a 2-0 defeat on Saturday when they travelled to the Cardiff City Stadium.
Eddie Howe's men were the favourites to win but were unable to grab all three points after two goals from Bobby Reid.
The defeat ended a run of two straight wins for Bournemouth and consistency continues to be an issue for the south-coast club.
Liverpool are up next and Gosling will be hoping to see some improvements after admitting his team were left confused by their struggles in front of goal.
He told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "I thought we were okay with the ball at times but we never really threatened their goal. Everything was in front and we found it difficult to break them down.
"We never really looked liked scoring, which is unusual for us with all our attacking play and the amount of one-v-ones we had. We didn’t really threaten their goal and that was the most surprising thing."
