Hammers given no encouragement by Howe
Eddie Howe has sent a 'not for sale' message to clubs chasing Cherries players after West Ham saw a bid for Harry Arter rejected.
Howe says his challenge is to keep the Bournemouth squad together during this transfer window, insisting none of his players are for sale.
"No players are for sale during this window." he said.
"For every window I've been here, the big challenge is keeping our squad together.
"By and large we've done it. Not 100 per cent. And that’s my target again in January."
West Ham boss David Moyes is understood to have made Arter his top midfield target but his £5million bid came nowhere near Bournemouth's £15million valuation.
The 28-year-old signed a new four-year deal last summer.
