Howe - We will bide our time with Smith
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits he is happy to play the waiting game with Adam Smith after his latest injury setback.
The Cherries right-back was forced off against Huddersfield Town on Saturday during the routine 2-0 win at the John Smith's Stadium.
Smith started the game in West Yorkshire and helped his side go 1-0 up before being forced off just before half-time.
Howe admits Smith had felt the issue earlier in the game and he is now willing to give him time to heal before assessing a return date, while he also confirmed David Brooks should be fine to continue after going down with a calf issue.
He told the Bournemouth Echo: "Adam was a hamstring problem so we will wait and see over the extent of that. I think he felt it very early in the match and carried on and then felt it again, so he knew he had to come off.
"I think David is okay. I don’t know, I need to check. I think his was more cramp due to the fact he had been out so long."
