I've earned England place - Wilson
Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson says he more than deserves his place in the current England squad.
Wilson has been in impressive form for the Cherries this season, scoring 11 goals from 23 Premier League appearances, and he will be hoping to earn his second cap for the Three Lions in the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The 27-year-old scored on his international debut in a 3-0 friendly victory over the USA in November and he is adamant his call-up to England's squad for the clashes with the Czech Republic and Montenegro is fully justified.
"I feel you have to have belief and confidence that you are there for a reason," Wilson was quoted as saying by the Bournemouth Echo. "I have tried to just be consistent and play well for Bournemouth and when it does get you into the England squad you are there for a reason.
"Players can't walk into that squad or walk into the team as well. You have got to work hard and when you are there, you have to show you are part of the team."
