Taylor sets sights on first-team spot
Kyle Taylor is looking to push on into Bournemouth's first team after recently signing a new three-and-a-half-year deal.
The highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder, who has been with the Cherries since the age of eight, has already made two first-team appearances against Brighton and Wigan in the FA Cup.
And with boss Eddie Howe clearly a big fan of the youngster after taking him on the club's pre-season tours in 2017 and last year respectively, Taylor wants to use his new deal to now prove he is worthy of a regular spot in the starting XI.
He told the club website: "It's been a fantastic journey until now and I just have to keep going, get my head down and try to break into the first team and nail down a spot.
"I know it's going to be really tough but I've had challenges all along the way. I know this is going to be the biggest one to date.
"With the team being in the Premier League, there is so much competition for places. The squad is packed with quality players and it's going to be the toughest challenge I have faced. But I'm ready to go straight for it."
