Brighton unlikely to do business - Hughton
Chris Hughton admits it is unlikely that Brighton will do any further business in the transfer market this month.
The Seagulls were busy over the summer with 15 new additions to the squad, although some of the likes of Joe Tomlinson, Hugo Keto, Billy Arce, Anders Dreyer and Peter Gwargis are yet to feature for the first team.
With Premier League survival looking a very realistic goal, Hughton has been reluctant to rock the boat with new additions.
Brighton did complete the signing of Alexis Mac Allister from Argentinos Juniors last week, however, he has been loaned back to the South American outfit.
Hughton insists they aren’t looking to do any further business before Thursday’s deadline, but admits it’s never a certainty.
"Probably in all honesty, no. We continue saying 'you never know' until it finishes because something could happen in that period of time,” Hughton said.
"But we're very happy with the squad we've got and in particular players we bought last summer and last January, who have worked their way into the team.
"At the moment, I think we've got a good and very balanced squad, so I don't see any business, but as I say, you never know."
