Dunk exit talk 'speculation' - Ashworth
Reports linking Lewis Dunk with a move to Leicester are just "speculation", according to Brighton's technical director Dan Ashworth.
It was claimed over the weekend that the Foxes had lined up a £45million bid for the Seagulls' skipper in anticipation of their current England international defender Harry Maguire departing for Manchester United.
Maguire has reportedly told his club that he would like to leave the King Power Stadium to join United and that will only heighten talk of an imminent swoop for Dunk from Leicester.
However, when quizzed about the possibility of Dunk being the subject of a bid from their Premier League rivals, Ashworth told Sky Sports: "As far as we are concerned it is only speculation and we won't comment on speculation."
The 27-year-old has made 270 appearances for the Seagulls since breaking into the first-team a decade ago and suggestions in the press that he will be disappointed if he is not granted a move to Leicester have been played down by Albion sources who claim he is happy and settled on the south coast.
