Dunk waiting on FA Cup call
Lewis Dunk is "ready" to play in Brighton's FA Cup tie on Sunday if Chris Hughton opts to call on him for the first time this season.
The 27-year-old central defender has featured exclusively in the Premier League for the Seagulls this season, scoring two goals in 27 appearances to date.
However, when discussing this weekend's trip to face Championship side Millwall at The Den in the quarter-finals, Dunk insisted that he would be happy to play if called upon.
Dunk, who was disappointingly left out of England boss Gareth Southgate's squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro later this month, told the Argus: "I haven't played in the FA Cup this year but you want to play every game as a footballer.
"That's what you train all week for, that's what your job is – to play games.
"So, if I'm called in, I'll be ready and you never know what team the gaffer is going to pick so we will wait and see."
