Gross praised by boss
Chris Hughton says midfielder Pascal Gross is adapting well to playing in a deeper role for Brighton.
Gross was on target for the Seagulls at Old Trafford at the weekend to set up a nervy finish for hosts Manchester United and Hughton was happy with his efforts.
The midfielder is playing in a deeper role this season and Hughton is happy with his progress in the side.
He said, "I'm pleased for Pascal. He is playing in a little bit of a different position than he did last year, because of the way that we are playing.
"That probably doesn't give him the opportunities of getting in those areas, but he did exactly what we want him to do, which is to make runs from perhaps that little bit deeper.
“He also showed some good timing with those runs from the edge of the box. I think that will do him the world of good."
