Lates test for Bernardo

1st February 2019, 11:43 by Nick Harris

Brighton's Bernardo faces a late fitness test ahead of the clash with Watford after he returned to full training.

Following the midweek loss to Fulham, their third on the bounce in the Premier League, where they had been in control of the game up until the break, Hughton will be desperate to see his side get back to wining ways on Saturday.

He is boosted by the return of Alireza Jahanbakhsh who is back from international duty and could make the bench this weekend but influential Jose Izquierdo is still ruled out for the home side.

Meanwhile, Anthony Knockaert, Yves Bissouma and Beram Kayal are pushing for starting roles should Hughton decides it is time to change his starting XI on Saturday.
