Murray in Lions warning

14th March 2019, 16:23 by Nick Harris

Glenn Murray says Brighton players should prepare for a hostile atmosphere when face Millwall at the New Den in the FA Cup.

The Seagulls ace says the recent M23 derby against Crystal Palace has given the players something of a taste of what is to come but expects it to be worse against the Lions.

Millwall have just hit some form with a win at Birmingham following a run of defeats so Murray knows it will be a tough encounter and is ready to warn the youngsters in the side what to expect from the crowd.

“I’m sure we’ll sit them down and give them a heads up of what to expect,” said the 35-year-old.

“There’s nowhere more difficult than Selhurst park, when they got their equaliser the fans get right up for it and this is a difficult place.

“It’s going to be similar to that.”
