Seagulls progress pleases Hughton
Brighton boss Chris Hughton is adamant his team have been making progress despite their recent back-to-back losses.
The Seagulls have had a tough couple of fixtures but they were by no means disgraced as they went down 1-0 on home soil to Liverpool, before losing 2-1 away at Manchester United.
As his side prepares for Saturday's arrival of Championship outfit West Brom in the FA Cup fourth round, Hughton feels his Brighton team are moving in the right direction, as they sit in 13th place in the Premier League.
"Our last two results show the progress we're making as a club," said Hughton. "There always has to be a sense of realism against those big six, particularly in the form the two sides were in. To go as close as we did show our development.
"Saturday's attendance will be testament to what the players have done this term and to attract the crowds we have, shows we are doing something right."
