Clarets defender to miss out
After picking up an injury, Burnley defender Matt Lowton is almost certain to be missing for the trip to Manchester United on Tuesday.
Lowton came off at half-time in the FA Cup defeat to Manchester City on Saturday with a groin injury and boss Sean Dyche has confirmed he is unlikely to feature at Old Trafford.
Dyche said: "I don't think he will be fit."
The Clarets boss will also make late calls on the fitness of Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Phil Bardsley and Robbie Brady whilst he has also a decision to make on his keepers with Tom Heaton set to get the nod with Joe Hart on the bench and Nick Pope rested after playing at the weekend.
Dyche said: "We are looking at a few fitness situations and if they come back then it gives more of a look to the side that I like.
"We are waiting to find out about Johann, Phil Bardsley and Robbie.
"There are a number of situations that are in the balance now and that was another tough call on Saturday.
"We had to change the team and the shape because we were limited with bodies and that has been another thing we have had to contend with this season which has been tricky."
