Clarets should relish City clash - Wood
Burnley will look to exploit Manchester City's weaknesses in Saturday's FA Cup tie at the Etihad Stadium, according to Chris Wood.
The Clarets hitman recognises that Sean Dyche's men have been handed one of the most difficult tests in this round of the FA Cup as they look to secure a place in the fifth round.
City have been in lethal form of late, especially in cup competitions as they thrashed Rotherham 7-0 in the third round and battered Burton 9-0 on home soil in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final before wrapping up a 10-0 aggregate win earlier in the week.
However, Pep Guardiola is likely to make changes for this weekend's game with City still fighting it out for silverware on four fronts, and Wood is looking for the Clarets to capitalise on any chinks in their armour.
The New Zealand international said: "There's never a free hit in these games. There's always a chance, it's the cup, they'll make changes, we'll make a few changes but we'll go out there to win the game.
"We know they're a quality side and they can do that to anybody. They can do it to a Premier League side, score six or seven past them.
"It doesn't matter that they've scored so many goals, we've just got to try and nullify their strengths and capitalise on their weaknesses."
Wood added: "You have to relish these games. These are the ties you want to play in. They're the best games in the world and they're what you dream of as a kid. You have to relish them, enjoy them and have fun. We'll see where that gets us."
Punters may choose to use their free bet on Burnley pulling off a cup surprise and claiming City's scalp on Saturday.
