Cork hails Clarets' return to form
Jack Cork has hailed Burnley's return to form after what he called a "proper performance" in the win over Wolves.
The Clarets have not yet escaped the worry of the drop but the win over Wolves at Turf Moor ended a losing run and saw them draw themselves five points away from the bottom three.
Cork believes the display showed Burnley at their best as they took advantage of a Wolves side with a "big week ahead of them". Nuno Espirito Santo's men play Manchester United on Wednesday and then Watford in the FA Cup semi-finals at the weekend.
Cork told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It was a proper performance from us. That's what we're good at, that's how we play, that's how we do things and we make it hard for teams, especially when they come here.
"That was how we should play and that is how we do play a lot of the time. We were hoping, with a big week ahead of them, that they might be distracted going in to the game.
"They play some good stuff at times but we always wanted to make it hard for them, and we did."
