Defender ready for battle
Phil Bardsley is ready to battle hard in the remaining games of the season to ensure Burnley stay up.
Burnley have seven games remaining to save themselves from the drop but, after a two-week break, confidence is high in the squad.
Bardsley says he is ready to put in the work and ensure they pick up the points they need to stay in the top flight.
"It's nice to get a couple of days away and refresh the mind and the body and get ready for the big run-in," Bardsley he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"I don't think the performances have been too far away from getting too many results.
"But it's a results' business and when you've not won in four, people start to look at you and doubt you.
"It's up to us now to put that right.
"We felt we should have won the game against Leicester, but we didn't, and the talking is probably over now.
"We need to start putting the performances and results into one and climb up that table."
