Dyche - Crouch will be the only deal

31st January 2019, 17:49 by Tom Hill

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says he does not expect any further transfers once Peter Crouch completes his switch on deadline day.

Crouch is set to finalise a surprise move on Thursday from Stoke City, with Wales international Sam Vokes going the opposite way.

Dyche has confirmed Vokes fancies a new challenge after a successful spell at Turf Moor.

The Clarets have been linked with Birmingham City's Che Adams but Dyche has played down any other deals.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We're linked with a lot of players but I don't speak about other people's players. I think it's improbable, you never know, but it's improbable.

"The Vokes thing has been in the background for a while, there was a maybe chance, and it started to warm up at the beginning of the week, and the level of finance got more serious, but I think it's unlikely anything else gets done."
