Dyche elated with Heaton's impact
Burnley manager Sean Dyche has hailed the bond between Tom Heaton and his side following his return to the starting XI.
The England international has started the club's last four Premier League games and he has helped his side climb the league table.
During that time, Burnley have picked up 10 points from a possible 12 and they have now moved out of the bottom three as a result.
Joe Hart finds himself on the bench, while Nick Pope is back fit after a spell on the sidelines with injury.
The Clarets face Manchester City in the FA Cup this weekend and Dyche faces a selection dilemma but the former Watford coach admits Heaton's impact has been instant.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "He has been good, there are no two ways about it. He has been calm, I always speak highly of him and the team in front of him has been good so I think there has been a good connection.
"You have to make a decision, that’s my job. I’ll have to make more as we go forward. You can’t have too many good players, the dream for every manager is to have a lot of top players. Manchester City’s top is different to ours, but I think we’ve got some very good players at this club."
