Mee says there will be no let up

9th April 2019, 11:10 by Nick Harris

Burnley defender Ben Mee has warned they are not out of the woods yet in their battle with the drop.

A win down at Bournemouth last weekend has certainly eased the pressure on Sean Dyche's men and the three points moved them eight clear of third-from-bottom Cardiff City.

Despite that gap, Mee says things can change quickly and he is taking nothing for granted, while warning his team-mates to do the same.

He said: "We've got a good mentality within the group, we've had that for a good few years now, and we won't take our foot off the gas."

The Clarets next game is a massive one with Cardiff visiting Turf Moor on Saturday.
